Natalia Solano, LMSW
Senior Associate
Natalia has over fifteen years of experience working with families of children with special needs as a counselor, advocate, and certified special education teacher. She has served culturally diverse families and individuals in schools, community organizations, and also within the child welfare system. As an immigrant living between two cultures, she has learned to pay special attention to cultural context as well as intersections of identity. As such, her style of therapy is eclectic and client centered, drawing upon CBT and psychoanalytical influences. Her goal is to help clients realize their strength to make a change and to heal by increasing self-awareness and confidence in a safe, supportive space that allows individuals to address traumatic events, feelings of loss or stress, without fear.
