Margaret Sikowitz, L. Ac. MFT-I
Clinical Intern
Margaret (she/her) is a lifelong New Yorker whose commitment to community and healing has guided her professional growth from working as an established acupuncturist to obtaining a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her warmth, empathy, and sense of humor have been integral tools in supporting people to achieve a wide range of health and wellness goals as they navigate life’s challenges. Her clinical training in body-based interventions, Gottman, IFS, solution-focused, and narrative therapies supports her in modeling and facilitating development of healthy relational structures and routines for self-management. She is a passionate advocate for people navigating major life transitions, whether differentiating from family systems through adolescence, exploring identity development, or navigating tensions of life stages like empty-nesting, career transitions, or caring for aging parents. She is a firm believer that integrating small, meaningful changes can make a genuine, positive impact on one’s quality of life.
