Kim Reiss, LMHC
Psychotherapist
As a licensed mental health counselor, Kim (she/her) is dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves and cultivate deeper meaning in their lives. She views therapy as a space for genuine connection - a place to explore challenges, clarify values, and focus on what truly matters. A top graduate of Molloy College, Kim holds Level 2 Gottman certification and advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her approach integrates DBT and existential therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. She works collaboratively to address anxiety, depression, and mood dysregulation - building coping skills, strengthening resilience, and exploring the deeper roots of distress to create lasting, meaningful change. Kim’s background in theatre, health, and wellness informs her holistic view of healing as a mind–body–spirit process, often incorporating mindfulness, somatic awareness, and creativity. Motherhood has deepened her empathy and perspective, reinforcing the importance of grace, balance, and authenticity. Outside of her clinical work, Kim stays grounded through soccer and hot yoga - practices that remind her of the power of presence, movement, and connection. At the heart of her work is the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth. She strives to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to live with authenticity, balance, and fulfillment.
