Katherine Casey, LCSW-R
Clinical Director
Kat (she/her) is a dynamic and engaged therapist who brings her intuition and creativity to the therapeutic relationship. Initially trained as an actress she relies upon her lifetime of experience merging body and brain responses with years of clinical research and practice to treatment. She studied at NYU and received her professional degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Her early career in addiction treatment recognized her talents in treating individuals and couples struggling with trauma, mental illness, grief and loss, relationship distress, and life transitions. Following the birth of her son and her own journey into parenthood she developed a deeper understanding of how these issues can be woven together in the unique life transition of becoming a parent. She has become a passionate advocate for the rights of mothers and young families and is driven to support them as they navigate uncertainty. Kat endeavors to provide as much support and as many resources as possible to help clients feel confident in their abilities, supported by their partnerships, and connected to their chosen community.
