Juhi Patel, MHC-LP (she/her) is a trauma-focused therapist who specializes in working with complex trauma and its impact on emotional regulation, identity, and relationships. She works with adults and couples navigating the effects of past experiences, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Juhi brings a collaborative, culturally responsive, and compassionate approach to therapy, with careful attention to safety, pacing, and the therapeutic relationship. Juhi holds the Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) designation and has completed Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Training Levels 1 and 2, with advanced training in working with the neurobiological legacy of trauma, complex trauma, and dissociative processes. Her clinical work is informed by an understanding of how trauma affects the nervous system, attachment patterns, and internal experience, and she supports clients in making sense of emotional and relational patterns shaped by earlier experiences. She has also completed training in EMDR, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level I. Juhi integrates trauma-informed, parts-based, attachment-oriented, and relational approaches to help clients reduce anxiety, shift people-pleasing and self-critical patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build more secure and satisfying relationships. Juhi is especially drawn to working with clients navigating relational conflict, cultural and intergenerational stressors, and life transitions, and she strives to create a space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported as they move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
