Halle Newson (she/her) believes that healing happens in the context of safe, authentic relationships. She approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each client's unique story, creating a space where individuals, couples, and families can slow down, feel understood, and begin making meaningful changes together. Drawing from systemic, relational, and experiential approaches, Halle views emotional struggles not as isolated problems within a person, but as experiences shaped by relationships, family systems, and the environments in which we live. She works collaboratively with clients to strengthen communication, deepen self-understanding, and foster healthier, more connected relationships - with themselves and with those who matter most. As a bisexual, cisgender woman, Halle is committed to creating an affirming, welcoming space where LGBTQ+ clients feel seen, respected, and supported in exploring their identities, relationships, and lived experiences. She is also passionate about supporting women navigating the unique challenges that can arise across the lifespan, including gender-based discrimination, work-life balance, changing family roles, life transitions, and the ongoing process of defining a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. Halle has a particular passion for working with couples, families, and individuals navigating relationship concerns, anxiety, identity development, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. Her background working with children and adolescents, combined with experience in educational settings and therapeutic group work, has deepened her appreciation for the ways early relationships and family dynamics influence emotional well-being across the lifespan. Halle earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and currently practices under a Limited Permit in New York. She also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Applications of Psychology from Kingston University London and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Bowling Green State University. She values providing culturally responsive, identity-affirming care and approaches therapy with the belief that every client deserves a space where they can feel genuinely understood while working toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're seeking support as an individual, navigating challenges within your relationship, or hoping to strengthen your family connections, Halle strives to offer a compassionate, collaborative space where growth feels possible and lasting change can take root.
