Amal (she/her) is a matcha enthusiast, loves to cook new recipes, listen to podcasts, write, watch ROM-coms, walk in nature, photography, and really enjoy what life has to offer day to day! She is guided by a core belief that each new day is a blessing. Born in Venezuela and raised in Astoria, Queens, NYC she is deeply connected to her community and is passionate about helping others. She enjoys managing the administrative needs of the practice, and supporting smooth billing processes, so that clients can keep their focus on their healing journey. She aspires to become a Mental Health Counselor in the future and appreciates how working at The Root Therapy NYC has deepened her understanding of the business side of mental health practice. When she's not supporting the practice, she's working for the small family owned business she owns and operates. She holds a degree in Advertising and Marketing from St. Francis College.
